Second Victim Dies After Missouri Crash

CREVE COEUR LAKE, MISSOURI — The second Wyoming County victim has died after last week’s plane crash in the Midwest.

Authorities in Missouri found a small plane flipped over in a lake last Wednesday. Inside were Russell Hazelton, 78, and his wife Suzanne, 69, from Lake Winola.

Russell Hazelton died at the hospital last week.

Authorities now tell us his wife Suzanne Hazelton died at the hospital Monday from her injuries.

Federal investigators believe Russell Hazelton was preparing to land when the plane went down.
