LOCK HAVEN -- Folks in Clinton County are making Friday all about "Annie," an 18-month-old girl born with a rare brain malformation.

After surgery one year ago, Annie suffered a stroke, then a near-death brain stem hemorrhage left her in a coma.

Annie's parents have been doing what they can to care for her.

They travel to New York City for treatments and said Annie will have to have more surgeries in the future. Plus, Annie needs costly equipment.

That's where the community is coming in to help. A dozen businesses in the Lock Haven area are pitching in a portion of their sales Friday to help the Eiler family. It's called "A Day for Annie."

“We feel very blessed to have Annie with us, and feel blessed to live here and have the support of so many,” said Rachel Eiler, Annie’s mom.

One dollar from every purchase for the 7 p.m. show at the Roxy Theatre in Lock Haven  will go to the Eilers.

Also, one dollar from every taco sold at Casa de Lobo near Lock Haven will go to the family.

Ten other businesses in the area are doing something similar.
