EAST STROUDSBURG — A woman in Monroe County faces charges, after police say she committed fraud by living in low-income housing.
Dawn Babbitt was arrested earlier this week.
Detectives in Monroe County claim Babbitt received money for housing assistance even though tax returns show that Babbitt and her husband earned more than $96,000 last year.
Babbitt face theft by deception and fraud charges.
