SCRANTON -- A mayor from New Jersey, who is stumping for President Obama, made a stop in Lackawanna County to encourage people to vote.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker was at the Obama campaign headquarters on Wyoming Avenue in Scranton Sunday.
Booker said Scranton will play a big role in this year's election because Pennsylvania could go either way.
"Silence and apathy, those are the kinds of things that kill. But when people lift their voice, when people sing with a chorus of conviction, that is always what helps our nation move forward," said Mayor Booker.
Election day is two weeks away, Tuesday November 6.
