Man Charged for Shooting at Trooper

HANOVER TOWNSHP — A man in Luzerne County faces felony charges after police accuse him of firing shots at a state trooper in April.

Monday, authorities charged William Gornosky, 28, of Nanticoke for firing a weapon at an officer as well as fleeing the scene.

He is currently locked up in Luzerne County jail with a bail of $100,000.

Gornosky was arrested back in May on robbery and burglary charges.
