SCRANTON -- Scranton Police charged a man who officers said confessed to burglarizing his former employer in March.
Investigators said Stanley Eskra, 38, confessed he broke into Ben Weitsman Scrap Yard in Scranton and stole a safe that contained $120,000.
Eskra had previously worked at the scrap yard and had been fired a few months before the theft.
According to authorities, Eskra said he stole the money to support his drug use.
