Lycoming College held a ceremony Saturday in Williamsport to honor legendary head football coach Frank Girardi.
Girardi guided the Warriors program from 1972-2007 as the head football coach winning 257 games along the way.
Girardi’s teams annually played in the Division III National Playoffs (11 times) and captured many Middle Atlantic Conference championships (13).
Under Girardi’s time Lycoming played in two NCAA National Championship games.
The bust at David Person Field will serve as a reminder of Coach Girardi’s many accomplishments on and off at the field at Lycoming College.
