WILKES-BARRE — A man is in custody after a home invasion in Luzerne County, according to police.

Authorities believe Paul Lott of Wilkes Barre forced his way into a home on Scott Street in Wilkes-Barre around 6:40 p.m. Thursday.

The man who lives in the home was holding his seven-month-old son at the time. Lott chased the man upstairs and pulled out a long knife. After a struggle, the Lott was able to escape from the home.

Police arrested Lott and he is now locked up in the Luzerne County jail on assault, burglary, and trespassing charges.
