SCRANTON — Lackawanna County police gave chase to an armed robber in the city of Scranton early Tuesday morning.
Scranton police said the robbery happened around 2:30 a.m. on Jackson Street. According to authorities, the crook flashed a gun.
Officers spotted the robbery taking place and ran after the person. Investigators said during the chase, a K-9 Unit dog led them into an apartment building on Washburn Street.
Police said they took everyone out of the building then took a juvenile to police headquarters for questioning. Police have not yet filed charges.
