The Town Crier Bakery is one of the places to satisfy your sweet tooth while visiting Peddler's Village in Bucks County Pa.  This old-fashioned bake shop offers a variety of baked goods to eat on the premises or take home.  See how they make their Apple, Caramel Bread.

Apple Caramel Bread

Make White Bread dough 1 pound.
Press air out of it.
Roll it out to about 12 inches long and flat.
Brush on caramel sauce generously.
Sprinkle on mixture of brown sugar, nutmeg cinnamon and select spices.
Add cooked apple filling - Macintosh apple slices, cinnamon, nutmeg water and starch. Cook until apple filling texture consistency.
Add strussel crumb topping generously.

Roll up the bread long ways.
Slice down the center.
Braid (twist) together.
Put in small bread pan.
Cover generously with crumb strussel.
Bake in over for 20 - 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
