Eckley Miners’ Village Haunted Lantern Tours
It’s a guided walking tour at Eckley Miners’ Village with different scary surprises along the path. Haunted Lantern Tours are:
Fri. – Sat. Oct. 12 & 13 (rain date October 14)
Fri. – Sat. Oct. 19 & 20 (rain date October 21)
Fri. – Sat. Oct. 26 & 27 (rain date October 28)
Doors open to the Visitor’s Center at 6 p.m. with the first tour at 6:30 p.m., and the last tour leaves the Center at 9 p.m.
Old Fashioned Hay Ride & Fall Fest
It’s held in Carbon County at the Weissport Borough Park, on Allen Street in Weissport, on Oct. 27 & 28, each day 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. There’s hay rides drawn by tractors along the historic canal. The event features entertainment, train rides, children’s activities, & homemade food.
