WILKES-BARRE — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man accused of stealing $100,000 worth of electronics from an office building in Wilkes-Barre.
Officers say Charles Edwards, Jr. stole the equipment from Core Communications, a company that leases office space on the first floor of a building on Public Square.
Police said twice in August, Edwards entered the business through a rear door and loaded the equipment into a van.
Officers tell us Edwards was contracted to work with the building’s property manager.
He later told police he sold the electronics to a scrap yard because he was desperate for money.
