WATSONTOWN — Police in Northumberland County are searching a for woman they believe stole her parents’ identity and charged thousands of dollars on credit cards in their name.
Emily Fitzgerald, 30, of Watsontown faces 40 charges of forgery, theft, fraud, and identity theft.
Investigators believe Fitzgerald stole her parents’ identity and opened nine credit cards, charging over $42,000.
Police said Fitzgerald may be traveling with Douglas Humphries, possibly in the Lancaster County area. Humphries, 33, has several warrants out for his arrest.
