This is the third in a series of 10 weekly Dancing with the Stars superfan blogs, as authored by contest winner Sarah Palonis, of Jessup.

Every week so far has been exciting, but a little bittersweet with each results show sending another all-star home. Week twos results show started off with the judges picking their favorite moments from seasons past, and the all-stars offering commentary. Cher Lloyd also performed singing her hit Want U Back then it came time for us to find out who fans didn’t want back.

Last week I thought we’d be saying good-bye to Bristol. When it was announced she, Kelly, and Joey were in the bottom three I thought for sure she reached the end of her dancing journey. It was a tense few moments Kelly first to be safe, leaving both Bristol and Joey facing elimination. Luck must have been on Bristol’s side however as Joey was announced as the one going home. If you didn’t see last week’s results show or simply want to see it again go to http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/dancing-with-the-stars/episode-guide and get full episodes!

Week three may be the most intense with double elimination, if that didn’t make things tense enough this week our all-stars select iconic dances from seasons past, and have creative control over the routines. The first couple to show us their stuff was Drew and Anna who gave us a Cha-Cha-Cha that showed a more sensual side to Anna and showed the others just how great they’d need to perform.

Following the pair Gilles and Peta danced a Tango, and Bruno appropriately dubbed Gilles “50 Shades of Gilles”. The dance was not only sensual; it was dramatic and enraptured myself and the audience.

Melissa and Tony selected the Samba, they definitely brought justice to the dance showing us a flexibility I didn’t know Melissa possessed wowing the judges, and earning them a 27 the highest score this season. Apolo and Karina decided to pay tribute to the iconic Foxtrot Gilles did, and the dance was definitely given justice earning them like a 25.5.

Kelly and Val were up next honoring Kirstie’s partner Maks by selecting the Pasodoble which had Carrie call them the couple to watch and tying them for the high score of the night with a 27. One of two bombshells dropped tonight was the announcement of Paula Abdul being a guest judge next week. We then saw Kirstie’s artistic take dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha to Moves Like Jagger giving us one of the most fun performances of the night.

Sabrina and Louis decided to go with the Pasodoble as well hoping to stay on top; while not succeeding they did have a fantastic performance. Emmitt and Cheryl hoped to be on top as well, and decided to do their own Pasodoble, and though Emmitt slid smoothly between Cheryl’s legs, he did not slide to the top.

Hoping to use their Quickstep to avoid being in jeopardy were Helio and Chelsie, while good Helio slipped up by stepping on Chelsie’s dress. The second bombshell was also dropped; the all-stars are picking each other’s dances selecting them tomorrow night some of which have never been done before.

After this announcement Bristol and Mark were up, Bristol had a bit of a meltdown during practice, saying she felt Mark didn’t want to be there anymore, with Bristol walking out. They got past this snag though and danced the seemingly most popular dance of the night the Pasodoble. Though better than what we’ve seen from her so far the pair still had the lowest score of the night.

Ending the night with a bang Shawn and Derek danced the Quickstep and Shawn definitely showed us the gymnast in her with Bruno calling it the best dance of all 15 seasons, despite the fantastic performance they did earn some scolding and lost a point from Len for breaking the rules but still managed to earn an impressive 26.5.

This week showed us some of the best performances so far of each all-star, and definitely making for a difficult results show as despite their best efforts two all-stars will be going home. I am predicting Bristol, and Kirstie will be leaving us but as last week’s elimination showed fans do make the difference so cast your votes!
