BELLEFONTE -- On Tuesday, former Penn State assistant football coach and convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky will learn his fate.

On Monday afternoon, attorneys are set to meet in Centre County Court to begin the sentencing process.

The judge, prosecutors, and defense attorneys are meeting behind closed doors and out of the public's eye.

Sandusky was found guilty on 45 counts of molesting children.

It's now up to a judge to hand down a sentence.  Each charge carries a penalty of five to 20 years in prison.

Sandusky is 68 years old, so even the low end of the scale sends him to prison for the rest of his life.

There's a hearing Tuesday to determine if Jerry Sandusky will be classified as a sexually violent predator.  The actual sentencing follows that proceeding.

Sandusky and his victims all have the opportunity to deliver statements to the judge, before that judge hands down his sentence.
