SCRANTON — A ceremony was held Monday honoring the man credited with discovering America.
Members of the Lackawanna County Columbus Day Association gathered on courthouse square Monday.
The group laid a wreath at the statue honoring Christopher Columbus.
This year marked the 104th year for the event in Scranton.
