Fire Wrecks Vacant House

MOCANAQUA — A fire wrecked a house in Luzerne County Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said the second alarm fire started a little before 4 p.m. at a vacant house on Main Street in Mocanaqua.

Eight fire departments were called to the scene to fight the blaze.

Part of the second floor collapsed.

No one was seriously hurt, but a firefighter did receive a minor burn.

A fire marshal is investigating the fire in Luzerne County.
