Man Sentenced for Stealing from the Elderly

WILLIAMSPORT — A man was sentenced Tuesday in Lycoming County for stealing from the elderly.

David Montis of Williamsport received seven years probation and must pay back more than $117,000.

In July, Montis pleaded guilty to stealing from a 93-year-old man he had power of attorney over.

Investigators said Montis used the money to buy a home last year in Williamsport.
