Bridge Work Brings Traffic Troubles

Emergency bridge repairs slowed the drive in part of Luzerne County Monday.

Traffic was backed up for about five miles along Interstate 81 northbound.  PennDOT repaired a hole in a bridge near the Pittston exit (175).

Traffic was down to one lane for a few hours.  

Work is expected to wrap up Monday afternoon.
