Strengthening Families Program
Program is for parents & youth 10 to 14 years and it’s held in Carbondale. It’s a free 7 week program that teaches problem solving. It includes free dinner & free child care for younger children. The program at Carbondale Elementary School starts Sunday, Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m. To register call Penn State Cooperative Extension at 963-6842.
Celebrity Soup Sale for Meals on Wheels of Northeastern PA
Meals on Wheels of Northeastern PA sponsors the Celebrity Soup Sale for the month of October. Pre-orders for frozen soups from different restaurants, such as Cooper’s & Patsel’s, will be sold at various businesses. Delivery of soups will come in NOvember.
