When Sam Dressler isn't chewing up chunks of yardage in the running game, Bret Berg is usually making big plays on the receiving end for Danville. Central Columbia counters with Dain Kowalski the hard-nosed junior tailback is hard to catch and Adam Novak is no joke. Something has to give in Bloomsburg Friday night.

"This is what you play football for. This is what you coach it for a big game on a Friday night. Can't get any better than that," said Jim Keiser.

"It's a tough schedule but we like that. The only way your going to be good is if you test yourself during the season and prepare for the playoffs. So we feel like if we can get thru this schedule we are ready to go," said Jason Hippenstiel.

The signature win for #5 Danville came last week against Mifflinburg a pre-season super 16 team. The Iron men flexed their muscle against the Wildcats. Dressler knows this one is for all the marbles.

"Biggest game we've played all year so far. We want that fifth win in a row. We want that undefeated season as always, it's going to be huge there a good team, and it's going to be a good game," said Sam Dressler.

Most people didn't expect the Danville Iron men to start (4-0) after the departure of all-state quarterback Andrew Andreychick, but the coaching here at Danville did. They had confidence in quarterback Weston Baylor he put in a great camp in the summertime and he's come out here in the first four weeks and he's produced.

"It's been working out real fine. We've been able to pass the ball most people thought we weren't going to since Andrew left and the running games been working well. It's all been going together real well," said Weston Baylor.

"I know central has 19 seniors and they are a very physical team. Out of the gate they've done well. What are you expecting from them? Exactly what you said they will be physical. Their a very well coached team. Coach Hippenstiel does a great job up there, and they have a lot of good skill people so their going to be a very good football team," added Jim.

Team 5 vs team 8 a Super 16 high-octane match-up.
