Gas Equipment Damaged

ELKLAND TOWNSHIP — State police in Sullivan County are looking for whoever is responsible for damaging equipment used for gas pipeline construction.

It happened sometime between Saturday night and Monday morning near Hill Road in Elkland Township, outside Forksville.

Troopers said five pieces of excavating equipment that belong to Precision Pipeline, a company from Wisconsin, were damaged.

Authorities estimate the damage could be as much as $350,000.
