Cops Investigate Gunfire

LEHIGHTON — Police in Carbon County were called out early Monday for reports of a shooting.

It happened just before 4 a.m. at a home along First Street in Lehighton.

Police said a man had gun shot wounds to his hand and near his thigh. One woman was taken into custody.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Authorities said charges will be filed.
