FORTY FORT -- A tribute to area veterans past and present took place Sunday during a special ceremony in Luzerne County.
VFW Post 283 in Kingston, along with the Forty Fort cemetery association, rededicated the flag pole in the cemetery in honor of all men and women from our area who died protecting our country.
The flag post in front of the cemetery also has new solar-powered lights, to illuminate the stars and stripes at night here in Luzerne County.
