SCRANTON -- Scranton police are investigating several break-ins that happened early Saturday morning at businesses in the city.

Investigators were on Ash Street Saturday morning where it appeared three businesses were broken into.

Windows were smashed and doors forced open at "Electric City Yarn", a hair salon, and a bakery.

Police are trying to find out what was taken from each.  One business owner told Newswatch 16 several hundred dollars as well as some equipment was taken from her shop.

Police are looking at surveillance video from a business across the street in an effort to find the culprits.
