HONESDALE — Police believe they have the man who tried to lure girls in Wayne County.
Jeremiah Wareham, 28, from South Canaan was brought back to Honesdale Tuesday.
According to court papers the man tried to get the children into his vehicle in Waymart in June. When he wasn’t successful, police said, he left the scene and ran into the woods with a gun.
Police picked him up in Maryland on a weapons charge.
