Murderer Receives Sentence In Shooting Death

WILKES-BARRE -- Up to forty years in prison is the sentence for a man in Luzerne County.

A judge sentenced Stanley Davis for killing his girlfriend Wednesday.

Davis pleaded guilty to third degree murder in June.

Davis shot Carlotta Springer-Howard, 37, of Wilkes-Barre in front of her teenaged son in December, 2011.
