After a two-year break the Valley View Cougars and the Lakeland Chiefs resume their rivalry on Friday night in Chapman Lake. Lakeland is coming off a week one 34-7 victory over Wilkes-Barre GAR down at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium.
While Valley View defeated Wallenpaupack 48-28. Both teams have similar running styles and will pound the ball on the ground. Tyler Brady ran well for the Chiefs in week one against the Grenadiers defense while Tyler Phillips and Rob Castellani shared the duties for the Cougars.
Kyle Kiehart and Liam Callejas get the call at quarterback Friday night.
