Flight Grounded After Reported Threats

PHILADELPHIA — A plane headed to Dallas from the Philadelphia International Airport was grounded Thursday morning after reports of a threat.

A spokesperson says the U.S. Airways flight had already left when the threat was called in. The jet turned around and returned to Philadelphia.

According to a television news station in Philadelphia, it involved a passenger carrying an explosive liquid.

A total of 69 passengers and five crew members were on board.

The airport remained open.
