SHAMOKIN -- Four buildings in Northumberland County was hit by flames late Wednesday.
Firefighters from at least four departments were called to battle the blaze on Shamokin Street in Shamokin around 10 p.m.
Authorities said four buildings, all connected, were affected by the fire.
Newswatch 16 crews tell us police were seen taking evidence from the building Thursday morning.
Crews said the building was vacant, and no one was hurt.
No power was connected to the building at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
