DANVILLE -- A small infestation of bed bugs was found at a hospital in Montour County Monday.
Geisinger Medical Center, near Danville, confirmed the bugs were discovered in certain areas of the hospital.
According to a statement released by the hospital, Geisinger has taken steps to isolate and exterminate the bed bugs that were found in limited areas. No patients were affected.
The statement also said the affected areas were isolated and will only re-open after a proper extermination of the pests.
