HAZLETON — A man from New York was locked up on drug charges Friday after a traffic stop in Luzerne County.

Edwin Robles, 24, was picked up around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on South Wyoming Street in Hazleton.

Police said they found nearly 250 bags of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.

Authorities also said Robles provided false identification to officers.

He faces charges of resisting arrest, providing false information to police and drug charges.
