Treasurer Accused of Stealing from Club

DINGMANS FERRY — A man is facing charges in Pike Count for allegedly stealing $20,000 from a soccer club.

State police said Daniel Deets of Dingmans Ferry turned himself in on Wednesday.

Troopers accuse Deets of using a credit card belonging to the Eastern Pike Soccer Club to make cash withdrawals and personal purchases.

At the time, Deets was treasurer of the soccer club.
