SNYDER COUNTY — Authorities in Florida believe they have caught the man accused of stealing from churches in Snyder County.
According to published reports, John Shaffer, 18, from Middleburg was charged Saturday with burglary, theft and more after being caught in Florida.
According to the report, Shaffer is accused of stealing from St. Paul’s Reformed church and Beavertown United Methodist church near Beavertown in June.
Shaffer is awaiting extradition from Florida back to Snyder County.
