Woman Pleads Guilty to Stealing Insurance Money

TOWANDA — A woman in Bradford County pleaded guilty Friday to charges involving fraud and theft of over $100,000 from medical insurance companies.

According to the attorney general’s office, Sherri Brinskelle, 38, of Stony Point, North Carolina, was charged in February on using eight different schemes to defraud a number of insurance companies.

Brinskelle is scheduled to be sentenced at a later date.
