LEWISBURG — There was a scary situation for students Friday at a school in Union County.
According to Lewisburg Area school officials, the high school was on lockdown from around 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. Friday due to what officials call a “perceived threat at the courthouse.”
The courthouse and the school are about six blocks apart.
Students have been back in class since Wednesday.
School officials said they plan to send an e-mail to parents.
