SCRANTON -- A guilty plea was filed Monday in a Lackawanna County bar shooting.
Derrick Phillips was arrested in May, 2011.
Phillips pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter Monday.
Prosecutors said he shot a man in the face inside Finn McCool’s bar on Cedar Avenue in Scranton.
Finn McCool’s was closed for code violations shortly after the shooting.
The place in Scranton's southside had a history of problems. The bar has not reopened.
