MOUNT POCONO -- A group in Monroe County is trying to make a difference with music.

More than 600 special athletes are getting a helping hand from a concert.

Hundreds gathered in Mount Pocono Sunday for the annual Billy Frost Concert.

The fundraiser featured seven live bands, raffles, prizes, and food.

All money raised goes to Pennsylvania Special Olympics, which will hold the games later this year at East Stroudsburg University.

“That day, eastern regional Special Olympics, there's 600-650 athletes come up and participate in the games and it doesn't cost them a dime because of what we do here today,” said Rick Starr.

Organizers said the concert in Monroe County would not be possible without all of the help from donors and volunteers.
