Man Admits to Armed Robberies

SCRANTON — Police said a man from Scranton has admitted to two armed robberies in the city.

Officers said Christian Cox robbed the Sunoco gas station on South Main Avenue on Tuesday, and held up a person in the same area last week.

Cox told police he was recently laid off and needed money because he didn’t want to end up on the street.
