BRIDGEWATER TOWNSHIP — A man from New York was killed when he was electrocuted while trying to steal wire and scrap metal, according to police in Susquehanna County.
John Santacroce, 29, from Lansing Station, New York and another person were at the Bendix manufacturing facility near Route 29 in Bridgewater Township, near Montrose around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
State police said the victim came in contact with high voltage electrical lines while trying to steal wire and scrap and was electrocuted.
