Salsa by Country Cottage

The Country Cottage in Jim Thorpe offers some incredible jams, jellies, pickles and salsa freshly made on the premises.  Enjoy this spicy salsa with intense heat.


Add each to large pasta pot.
12 cloves of garlic chopped
1/2 dozen jalapeno
1/2 dozen tomatoes chopped
(add salt and oregano to taste)
Cider Vinegar to taste
small bunch of cilantro chopped
Stir in pot and cook for 10 minutes

Sterilize canning jars in hot water bath for 1 minute.
Pour in salsa using a funnel.
Take sterilized lid and ring.
Close tightly.
Put in boiling water for 15 minutes to seal.
