POTTSVILLE — A homicide trial in Schuylkill County is now in the hands of the jury.
The jury received the case around 11 a.m. Wednesday in the trial of Franklin Stumhofer.
He is accused of killing his father in September of 2011 in a home in West Penn Township, near Tamaqua.
Stumhofer is also accused of attempted murder. Prosecutor allege that after killing his father, he opened fire on his brother-in-law and three others in a car.
