National Night Out takes place across the country and here at home tonight. It’s an event aimed at encouraging more communication between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve. Free family activities are planned from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. as a way to introduce people to their local police officers and other emergency crews.
