Testimony Begins In Stumhofer Trial

POTTSVILLE – More testimony is expected Tuesday in the case of a man accused of killing his father in Schuylkill County.

Authorities believe Franklin Stumhofer, Jr. shot his father in September of 2011 in a home in West Penn Township.

Opening statements and testimony began Monday.

Stumhofer is also accused of attempted murder after cops say he opened fire on his brother-in-law and three others in a car in Berks County.
