Pennsylvania 400 Shortened by Rain

LONG POND — Severe storms rolled into Monroe County just before 5 p.m. dousing the thousands of fans at Pocono Raceway.

The rain was a constant challenge for drivers and fans at Pocono Raceway.

The start of the Pennsylvania 400 was delayed until 2:30 p.m., and there were several cautions throughout the race.

Finally, officials called the race during lap 98, meaning Jeff Gordon took the checkered flag.
