ASHLAND — A woman was taken into custody Saturday morning after Schuylkill County police said she stabbed another woman in the face.
Authorities said the stabbing happened at 7:30 a.m. at an apartment on Hoffman Boulevard in Ashland.
Police said they found the victim with multiple stab wounds to her face and was immediately taken to the hospital.
Officers then arrested Shannon Meyer, 31, and charged her with several counts including aggravated assault.
Meyer is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison.
