One Killed in Deadly Crash

WEST BEAVER TOWNSHIP — A man was killed after police said he lost control of his car and hit a tree Friday afternoon in Snyder County.

Authorities said Jacob Fisher, 39, of McClure, was driving on Back Mountain Road in West Beaver Township, near McClure. around 2:30 p.m.

Police said his car went off the road, down an embankment, and hit a tree.  Fisher was pronounced dead at the crash site. 

The crash is under investigation.
