WRIGHT TOWNSHIP — A truck driver survived a fiery wreck Thursday in Luzerne County.
Officers said a rig and an SUV collided on Route 309 in Wright Township around 3 p.m. knocking out phone service in the area.
Route 309 in Mountain Top is back open, though at last check utility workers were still on the scene.
The truck driver crawled away from the crash.
Investigators say the driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital.
