LATHROP TOWNSHIP — Fire crews believe a water heater malfunction is to blame for a fire in Susquehanna County.
Crews were called to the home off Route 11 just outside Hop Bottom around 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Firefighters said the place was full of smoke when they arrived.
A family was home at the time of the fire, but no one was hurt.
