SCRANTON — In the 78th annual Lions Club Dream Game played Wednesday night at Scranton Memorial Stadium the City team won its third straight game over the County 41-20.
The City was led by Wallenpaupack running back Pat Ingulli. He ripped off a 43 yard touchdown run in the second quarter to keep his team ahead 20-10.
After a County touchdown from Lou Febbo making it 20-17 the City responded with their own score. Jordan Dempsey dumped the ball underneath to Austin Cowperthwait and he did the rest after some great blocking. The 61 yard touchdown catch and run came seconds before halftime. It was a spectacular play that gave the City momentum and helped to the win in the second half. The final 41-20 City wins.
